Little Paris Books focuses it content primarily to the history -

of the Louisiana-French,

especially St. Martin Parish (county) and St. Martinville (nicknamed le Petit Paris or Little Paris).

This area is marked with flor-de-lis,

the official symbol for the State of Louisiana

​Longfellow-Evangeline Special Books is the first series and here are the planned book types:

1. Restoring historical versions of Evangeline with expected October 2025 availability:

- 1850 -1930, 

- Superbly illustrated from the restorations, including woodblock engravings and full color photos, paintings and other artwork,

- Historic context section that is extensive, informative and interesting and well-researched and illustrated

- Two were published with French translation

2. Extractions of the artwork from approximately 25 historic and superbly illustrated editions

- Organized by artist

-Biographic sketch of the artist

- Curated samples of their other artwork

The cover and each page receive high resolution scans

- The scans go through text and image optimization reviews, with all needed corrections made

  • Mr. Lawrence-Martin Capuder is passionate about the subject matter because he has this ancestry 

- Researcher, which learned from his mother - a librarian - and 15 years as an auditor

- Curator of interesting historic narratives and images to support the historic context,
